Nice rich dusty fruits, lifted intense and punchy nose with black spicy fruits and tary notes and hints of clove and dried plums. Super thick rich palate black fruits on the palate, but sweet and chewy fruit tannins. Big.
Purple fruited. Ink, plum verging on prune, warm spice. Liquorous. Warm alc and glyceric texture. Fruit cake - "sweeter" than anticipated from the nose. Firm, savoury tannins.
Brooding. Aromatics speak of oak, sinew, and brine. Mid palate sweetness seems engineered. Mouth coating. A wine with width and volume.
