Judging Results
Medal / Award Bronze
Judge 1 Nice black fruits and lifted primary fruit nose. Blackberry seed and tar with hints of spice and cloves. Nice but simple.
Judge 2 Closed. Dark and brooding. Firm structure, quite extracted, but fresh fruit pulls through. A serious style, sticky tannin is a touch drying.
Judge 3 Red toffee apple nose. A heaviness to the wine that speaks of sugar - tannins could do with more crunch. Potential.
Associate Judge ruby red, red fruits/dusty oak overtones. plush red fruits, grippy tannin, moderate length.
