Rich, ripe and toasty - vanillin oak sits above the fruit. Plush, bumped up by oak sweetness, but lovely supple tannin structure. Oak lingers.

Oak dominates the nose to the extent varietal characters struggle to show through. Oak follows through to the palate. Judicious oak use would be recommended.
