Sweet oak, vanillin, kid glove, dried fig, mellow fruit - a bit dried out? Rioja-esque. Fine grained tannins, perfumed finish, oak prominent but very much part of the style. |
ripe lifted estery oak too acid makes tannins pronounced and astringent |
Oaken and port like. Lacks fruit race on the palate. Incredibly dry. |
