rich, hint of aldehyde, concentrated, good acidity, chunky and chewy
Sweet oak, vanillin, kid glove, dried fig, mellow fruit - a bit dried out? Rioja-esque. Fine grained tannins, perfumed finish, oak prominent but very much part of the style.
ripe lifted estery oak too acid makes tannins pronounced and astringent
Oaken and port like. Lacks fruit race on the palate. Incredibly dry.
