Oak! good red currant rosepetal and cloves behind, Quite a plush palate just a bit too much creaming soda oak overshadowing fruit. |
Nice acidity but sweet caramel oak smoozes the wine & detracts from varietal character. |
Balance of fruit and savoury components. Line of acid running through the finish. |
fwd colour. tad dull. lactones, ok tannins but dry and dusty. missing a few things. |
