deep colour, ripe fruit and overt oak on nose. On palate ripe dense blackcurranty fruit, some firm structuring tannins, but let down by too much oak. |
Deep med red, intensity, some tar and black olive, wow, great weight and depth, aussie brunello style, ripe tannins |
very dense colour, minty oak, very concentrated but varietal character takes a back seat |
very dense, dark hue, musk bay leaf, complex, blackberry, vanilla and spice, density, chewy chalky tannins, RS? or Alc? giving sweetness to finish a bit much perhaps, lovely but a bit over the top |
