Judge 1	Dense purple. Rich fruit and a good line of tannin.
Judge 2	interesting herbal floral though also some VA here. lots of tannins which are actually very well managed. this isn't a showy wine but youthful and sneaky. the tannins are fruit driven, there is great fruit. think you have to wait for this to reveal its best.
Judge 3	Dark cherry, plum, lean
Associate Judge	Chocolate, coffee grounds, leather, perhaps slight Brett??? Adds a sweet attractiveness rather than a typical barnyard note. Nice acidity but harsh tannins and palate falls short.
