Judging Results |
mid red, lashings of vanillin and choc berry oak, blackberry fruit underneath, lacking fruit and dry and tough tannins
red roses and apple skin, touch hot, fruit is very dry and with the very dens tannins the wine is a little hard. it does finish well.
Brick red hue. Aniseed, dark fruit aromas, but dried out on palate
deep red, a bit smoaky, dry tannins a bit disjointed on the palate. re-testing> nice aging character, some vanilla and coconut, still slightly dry on the palate.
