prunes on hot terracotta tiles, big mouthful of warm fruit flavour, wrapped in a big thick blanket of tannin
a touch of VA lift, some red and black fruit and chocolate coated raspberry lollies. Touch of licorice - quite hard, astringent tannins even for sangrantino
licorice, port, dried cherry, rose petals. prune. lots of very dry dusty tannins
Brickish hue. restrained nose... terracotta, orange peel. Palate tight, soaring tannin, fruit doesn't deliver the stuffing.
