purple colour, some spice, brooding wine, acidity fells a bit pokey. wine is a bit short and firm
dark malty oak, bacon seasoning. chunky palate, lacking freshness and vibrancy.
Crunchy dark fruit laced with bright starwberries and rounded oak mouthfeel - generous and ripe
Complex, earthy and moving into spicy leathery notes, mature fruit characters. Showing some age, the tannins have softened and the fruits are moving into a tertiary realm, still plenty of length and a solid wine that shows sense of place.
