Judge 1	some good bramble fruit characters, good, vibrant, lively, supple tannin
Judge 2	quite a closed nose - red plum emerging, touch of licorice. Quite savoury on the palate with good salted plum and cured pork notes. Nice balance of acid and tannins. Good.
Judge 3	broodier, star anise, coffee beans, ripe black fruit, lovely opening but falls away a little quickly
Associate Judge	Black fruit, anise, tobacco and spearmint. Powerful, tensely wound, brooding black fruits, soaring walls of tannin, rolling through the palate. Quality.
