Inky purple in color with deep staining in the tears (classic). Roasted/baked plum loaded with mixed spices. Slight burnt note. Prune in spirits with dried herbs. Softer than expected tannins - still roasted/cooked tomato and rubber note throughout. |
Soft and delicate aromatics, with plum, bath salts, gentle spice, a glimmer of game meat. Sapid palate with lovely harmony and intensity. Red plum, dark cherry and spice framed by firm tannins and high acid. A fresh and lingering finish. |
New French oak influence, dark plum, sharp acid slight out of balance |
