Judge 1	Dry flowers and stewed tea. Hard tannins clamp the wine down, building a mid palate levee through which to can't really flow.
Judge 2	Really pretty, violet toned fruit but the oak just skews it, a real dried stick character to this. Dried rose petals and herbs.
Judge 3	Deep ruby. Inky dark fruit. Confit, not quite raisin. M acidity, big structure, firm dry fruit tannins. Again, a usefull blender bu t difficult as a stand alone wine.
Associate Judge	Desiccated, sweet spice, fruit cake, tannin are drying but fruit helps to support, reasonable bright
