bacony oak , sits over the fruit Big style with quite chunky tannin
Dusty and earthy aromas mixed with concentrated plum and violet notes. Brooding and dark with loads of spice and concentrated fruits...mouthwatering firm tannins. Second pass - saw more open and distinct.
Menthol, pepper, a meaty nuance, followed by blackberry and tilled earth. Good intensity and definition on the palate, blackberry, menthol spice, game meat and baked plum. Great verve and length here. I like this for its balance of fruit and savoury, and its precision.
Minty and dry herbs, shaded fruit, ripe palate with some RS to add sweetness
