berry compote with a lick of dusty vanilla , ok however a little non descript
Aromas of wild thyme, mint and bay leaf lead the way on this dark Montepulciano. Sweet spices with a touch of pepper dusted over black plum compote. Lush on the palate with a distinctive minty/herbal/menthol note - firm and drying tannins. Fruit pie filling with savory herbs
Rhubarb, red plum, crushed herbs. Good typicity of flavour. Nice juicy palate, with under ripe plum, rhubarb again. Acid is very high and its sourness a bit distracting.
Candid apple, plum, wild berry with some spice oak, good complexity, slight forward soft round acid and gritty tannins
