Fragrant, flowering herb and roasting spices. Slight hard and tinny through the palate...tannins sit a little forward in the wine clamping it rather than tapering it through the finish.
Deeper darker fruits with more of a graphite edge. Lots of spice and well placed savoury elements. Blackcurrant and spice. Oak a little obtuse.
M ruby. Heavy handed, mid palate lacks freshness, clunky drying tannins, coarse.
Restrained on the nose carrying through to pal. drying tannins without the fruit to support.
