Red skinned fruit, some leafy etching. But you have to go looking for it. Not sure the fruit is ready to wrestle this oak in this weight class
Verbose red fruits with almost a deep plum dominance. Slightly sappy greenness and an overt layer of oak smears the fruit beneath. There is still brightness to the wine with linear acid and fruit weight. Potentially better with a little more time.
M ruby, slightly dull hue. Red fruit with more secondary aromas creeping in. Has interest. Fresh and vibrant middle, soft red fruit, integrated acidity and cleansing tannin. Starting to age.
Well lifted nose, vanilla (oak?) and blue fruit. Simple palate, a good wine with good structure.
