A darker, broodier style but done pretty well. Black cherry and nutmeg spice. Briney acidity provides a needed edge, crushed concrete tannins impose discipline.
Seductive on the nose with opulent, riper fruits. A grown up kind of example with plushness but a layered nature that exudes class. Riper richer fruit, great oak integration and a lively acidity. Theres savoury aplenty here - smoked meats, chanterelles and just dried mint. A really great example of this variety.
M ruby. Fresh dark cherry. M acidity, reasonable density, tannins are quite aggressively on finish
Restrained on nose and palate in terms of fruit. Tannins are a bit drying and out of balance with the rest of the wine.
