varnishy oak holds back the fruit leading to an imbalance
Pretty aromas with a solid core of mixed fruits (fresh/dry/jam), mixed spices and touch floral/herb/earth. Medium bodied balanced, solid wine well constructed.
Dull aromas. Looking for more lift aromatically and through the palate. Some bright cherry fruit brings freshness, but there's not enough punch to sit with the tannins.
Moderate oak, spicy and dry herbs, some aldehyde, dry palate need more fruit lift
