Blackberries and soot, some lozenge and chaff. Firm and finely etched...tight tannins, pleasingly stern.
Verbose fruits with a deeply ripe edge. A linear structure but the fruit just feels sleepy and disjointed. Feels like the fruit and winemaking are combative rather than collaborative in the the final wine
M ruby. Deeper ripe red fruit. Hint of cola. Oak noticeable but integrated, hint of leather. Stemmy. Good medium weight, medium acidity, firm tannin finish. Baggy oak dominates
Fly spray character on nose. Pal has intense structure but lacks fruit and balance to tie together
