Ripe and sweet fruited. Apricot kernel and spice.. richer and riper. Oak a little weetbix cereal like and cloying to finish? |
Pale gold in the glass, this wine smells of unripe apple, lemongrass and citrus pith. In the mouth, lemongrass, pear, and grapefruit zest have a zingy, almost spicy brightness thanks to excellent acidity. There's also a bit of aromatic sweetness here that is quite pretty. Silky but with an underlying stoniness. |
savoury nutty honey developed notes with some oak. richer riper style with a touch of sweetness but nicely balanced with phenolics and not over done |
nectarine, riper stone fruits, toast, slight flint waxy, textual, nice depth but shot on the acid drive |
