There is a fresh element of fruit, combined with a volatile edge. Very good balance, though volatility is an issue. |
Very dark, nearly opaque garnet in color, this wine smells of black cherry and blueberries. In the mouth, rich black cherry and blueberry fruit is crushed in a muscular fist of tannins that dry the mouth. Brawny and massive, with good acidity but ultimately too aggressive tannins. |
Big ripe blackberry blackcurrant number, lovely lactic tones. Extracted and innately fruit sweet, baller yet lactic fresh |
underipe blackberry, grape stalks, easy drinking frame. lacking some intensity but nice spice quality and medium finish |
