Toast and cloves oak.. some yellow peach and almond kernel but oak sitting on top and a little drying |
Light to medium gold in color, this wine smells of oak and poached pears. In the mouth, oakey flavors of pear and apple are shot through with sarsaparilla and a touch of brown sugar. Bitter herb notes linger in the finish. Chalky texture. Decent acidity but too much oak here. |
riper honey nectarine. green almond. slight kero note. viscous mouthfeel, green herbal edge |
medium straw, slightly nutty, skin contact, ripe stone fruits saline. oily on the palate complex and quite an interesting wine |
