Inky and black. Soft and silky. Complex. Walks a very nice line between sweet and savoury. Dry tannins, but young and in check.
Very dark garnet in the glass, this wine smells of plum and black cherry with a grapey undertone. In the mouth, that grapeyness mixes with high toned (volatile) notes as putty-like tannins coat the mouth. Strong acidity, but hollow.
Black fruit reduction, wet black earth. Slippery and saline, nice length of chew
muted tart blackberry, simple just black fruits with some cedar spice and blackberry. structure holds and is perfectly pleasant
