Inky and black. Soft and silky. Complex. Walks a very nice line between sweet and savoury. Dry tannins, but young and in check. |
Very dark garnet in the glass, this wine smells of plum and black cherry with a grapey undertone. In the mouth, that grapeyness mixes with high toned (volatile) notes as putty-like tannins coat the mouth. Strong acidity, but hollow. |
Black fruit reduction, wet black earth. Slippery and saline, nice length of chew |
muted tart blackberry, simple just black fruits with some cedar spice and blackberry. structure holds and is perfectly pleasant |
