Some cola and spice. Dustier and drying. Lacking some freshness. Slightly flat |
Very dark garnet in the glass, this wine smells of very primary blackberry and black cherry fruit. In the mouth, powdery, dusty tannins coat the mouth, and remain quite supple as blackberry and raspberry fruit flavors mix with road dust and citrus peel. Quite correct varietally speaking, with very good acidity, but the tannins are ultimately a little drying, and the fruit less complex than it could be.. |
black olive, prune, dried cherry, rose petal. hint of white pepper. gamey on the palate. lovely balance of juicy acid. riper style done welland soft tannin. |
Black fruits, floral. Sour cherry, lighter in weight on the pallet, sweet and sour. Some good length but not as much intensity |
