Sweet, oak, out of balance. |
Light to medium yellow-gold in the glass, this wine smells of sweet candied citrus peel and a touch of honey. In the mouth, honeyed notes of candied citrus and Asian pear mix with orange blossom water. There's a faint chalkiness here, and perhaps also a bit of residual sugar? Less acidity than I would like. Perhaps a bit too ripe. |
Bruised banana, green banana. Fructophylic oily |
restrained nectarine, salty lemon, orange rind, appealing, sweet simple palate |
