Judge 2 Withdrawn
Judge 3 Bracket in general looking tired. Oldest wine showing microbial issues. Overall lacks freshness and life.
Judge 4 Significant browning on the older two wines, assumed varietal. Youngest wine savoury and salty. Firm tannins noted throughout but very astringent without fruit core to support. Microbial wine 3.
Associate Judge Interesting black tea and tee tree nose. Youngest wine already looks to be showing some development. Fruit looks a little tired, some nice tannin. Earthy secondary characteristics definitely present in mod aged wine. Some attractive tobacco leaf notes, however palate feels as though it has dried out and lacking fruit freshness. Some earthy barnayard feacal characters in the oldest wine, looks older than 10 years. Bret?
