Dried herb and spice. Medium framed with some reduction interest and greener edged with some menthol. Has some terra cotta style tannin. |
Dark garnet in color, this wine smells of dried flowers and wet earth. In the mouth, fleecy tannins wrap around a core of blackberry and dried flowers with notes of orange peel. Excellent acidity but the tannins stiffen and dry the mouth. They will likely mellow with age, but at the moment they're a bit aggressive. Oak lingers in the finish. |
more developed dusty rose petal, herbaceous. thinner palate with tannins forefont, lacking plushness and body. though delicate and intriguing. |
less depth of colour. Some florals and spice, some development, green sappy tannins but developed fruit... |
