Judging Results
Medal / Award
Judge 1 Hightone Menthol. Missed the Arinto memo.
Judge 2 Melon and honeyed notes with a slight greeness. Structured palate, doesn't flow. Would like more acid and fruit lift. Feels a bit warm.
Judge 3 Slightly muted nose gives a slighly flat, skinsy impression but interestingly spicy/herbal that springs into life on the palate. Substance, texture, just a little lacking in juicy flow which impacts the finish.
Associate Judge orange rind, preserved lemon, hint of salinity, alluring. med plus acid, med length of preserved lemon, saline and rock. medium to full body, has density and holds itself well.
