Judging Results
Medal / Award Gold
Judge 1 Lacks definition. A bit dry red.
Judge 2 Medium to dark ruby in color, this wine smells of cherry and strawberry fruit tinged with earth. In the mouth, juicy cherry and berry notes are wrapped in a muscular fist of tannins that put the squeeze on the palate. Excellent acidity keeps things fresh and bright, with notes of oak and herbs lingering in the finish.
Judge 3 Stereotypical blood and bone, dried nori. Slight sweet sour tones with lovely maraschino cherry fruit sweetness
Associate Judge strawberry, red cherry tart, med intensity, sweet dense red fruit palate of medium length. simpler nose but enjoyable
