Dark cherry spice and good juicy lift. Has some menthol? Pretty florals and good succulent core of fresh acidity.
|
Very dark garnet in color, this wine smells of blackberries and dried flowers. In the mouth, plush blackberry and blueberry flavors are wrapped in lightly fleecy tannins. Decent acidity could be stronger, and only a tiny hint of that citrus note I associate with this variety. Mercifully little overt oak influence.
