Quite hot. Dark fruited. Edge of volatility. Oak out. A bit simple. Varietal question.

Dark garnet in color, this wine smells of sweet oak and cherry fruit. In the mouth, fresh and juicy cherry and strawberry notes mix with herbs and a hint of meatiness. Excellent acidity keeps the mouth watering, as the oak tannins stiffen in the finish. Nicely balanced as a whole.
