Quite hot. Dark fruited. Edge of volatility. Oak out. A bit simple. Varietal question. |
Dark garnet in color, this wine smells of sweet oak and cherry fruit. In the mouth, fresh and juicy cherry and strawberry notes mix with herbs and a hint of meatiness. Excellent acidity keeps the mouth watering, as the oak tannins stiffen in the finish. Nicely balanced as a whole. |
Smoked red cherry and cherry stalk. Meaty and sweet, Devon |
tart cranberry, white strawberry, rubbery, easy drinking structure, but flabby acid quality with no fruit finish. |
