Judging Results
Medal / AwardGold
Judge 1Fresh and juicy and bright fruited. Has some citrus spice and fresh florals. Pear skin. Lovely core of fruit and succulence. Vibrant and interesting extract.
Judge 2Palest gold in the glass, near colorless, this wine smells of lemon pith and orange pith. In the mouth, stony flavors of orange pith and grapefruit have a wonderful intense minerality and crystalline quality. Excellent acidity makes for a crisp, clean, bright expression, with just the faintest hint of bitter citrus peel in the finish.
Judge 3concentrated primary nose, dried apricot, fig. lovely minimality on palate, chalk, phenolic structure
Associate Judgefresh, tension, well balanced but short, drops off quickly
