Powerful fruit profile that edges on over ripe. More baked quince, which translates to an over ripe character on palate. Which leaves the wine feeling overly broad and lacking direction, acid line |
golden hue; reductive nose; rich and full bodied style (some age?), phenolic edges, some development with nice acie |
Yellow ice block, yellow life savers, whiffs of lychee and white nectarine flesh and blossom, some talc in the background. Quite round framed and oily even, with some heat present, complex and full textured, peach jam, mango chutney, with an almost cocoa nib oak tannin carry |
slight peanut notes, wood fermented? generous fleshy orange. persistent |
