Complex nose with hints of spicy, nutty development, subtle caramel and orange peel. Lovely palate weight and fine, savoury phenolics and a salty, sustained finish of green olive and nuts. Excellent balance
Bright clear mid gold. Nose shows a bit of vanillin oak from ferment, not tonnes of other fruit. Flavours fairly dominated by warm sweet oak. A bit one dimensional as a result.
Medium gold. Savoury botrytis nose, fruit forward, savoury, oxidative nuttiness on back palate.
ginger cookie dough, white pepper, caraway seed. perfumed and lifted, orange blossom, mango butter, hard phemolic character. like the honeycomb confectionery does look aged
