xmas cake nose and dense oak. ripe fruited, dark choc, guinness fruit cake. touch warm on nose. palate ripe, a bit chewy and blocky, lacks varietal expression. However, acid offers a fresh breeze and there's some charm to the opaque nature of this wine. Will have fans.

Deep plummy maroon. Aromatics a touch developed, hint of soy, not overly effusive. Some lavender maybe. Palate is round, soft, easygoing. Not very long. Good for a glass certainly.

Saline and slightly reductive, maybe Barnyardy. Palate is a little dilute in the centre. It finishes gently but the acid maybe a little overt.
