Judge 1	Smoky, charry notes with black fruit. The palate is firmly structured with grippy tannins and acidity. Ripe but currently closed with dominant tobacco, tomato and dark earthiness.
Judge 2	Deep maroon. Top notes are quite herbal, suggesting cool season. Parsely stalk and red cherry. Palate is a bit chalky, has a shortness that suggests a bit of volatility I couldn't smell. Bit bitter to length.
