Ripe and black-fruited with chocolate notes. A decadent palate, almost figgy-ripe, warmer-climate expression. Plush with a coating of ripe tannins, held together by the acidity. Sweet and spicy complex oak on the finish.
Very deep/ dark colour, touch brickish at edge. Smells like molasses and formic acid. Very dense fruit, salivating acidity. Not very fresh.
Tertiary dried cherries, leather, some VA, cedary vanilla oak. Palate savoury, dominated by drying tannins.
