Dark fruit, earthy, sour edge to the acid/tannin, chewy finish

florals, red crunchy fruit and a crush of granite. fresh and inviting. juicy and oodles of fine spice. well structured, hint of blood, long finish and very succulent and drinkable.

Bright mid cherry. Some crushed horehound and black cherry notes, quite interesting. Palate is interesting, comfortable red fruits and plenty of charm. I like this wine, it has character. It's a bit pinched though. Probably a bit of wholebunch and some VA lift I can't really see. Looking later, it's fairly pinched, and not crazy fresh for a 2025. OS 91, down to

Nose is restrained but in a nice way. Lovely plum and spice and a little barrel character. A nice humble wine. Great tannin and alcohol balance. Mouth coating. Fruit is not sweet or overbearing.
