Pale colour. A dollop of fruit mid-palate with dusty tannins surrounding it. Red fruit and tomato with cinnamon.
Mid cherry colour. Slightly odd aromatic - oddly herbal over red fruits. cheerful red fruits, mid weight, nice acid and tannin.
Baked cherry pie with vanilla cream, also forest mushrooms, light cedar, smoke - primary, secondary and tertiary complexity - palate intensity, balance between fruit weight, chalky acidity and grippy tannins. Love the structure.
dried rose petal, empty beer glass, herbal. fruit weight doesn't match tannin volume. dried sour character.
