Judge 1	Cedar, pencil shavings, blackberry. The palate tapers quickly to dry, dusty tannins which carry some austere restraint, finishing on dried plum.
Judge 2	Inky dark maroon. Slightly bilgey old oak note over macerated dark fruits. Pleasantly rich and ripe though.
Judge 3	Big vanilla oak nose, lacking fruit concentration on palate - has leesy cheese instead.
