Overall Score 88
Judge 1 Chalky and mineral structure emerging from under the fruit. Drying out a touch now with earthy and dried herb notes taking over the palate.
Judge 2 Inky dark maroon. A bit of volatility on this perhaps? Did someone toy with a little bunch? Colour does not suggest so. Actually quite a tasty and somewhat youthful wine. .
Judge 3 Savoury with liquorice, spice & vanilla over ripe dark fruits, palate dry & savoury, finishing with amaro note.
Associate Judge fennel seed, warm spice, touch green tob leaf. fruit ripe black plum, chalky, sandy tannin in droves. tannin doesn't quite frame to pull through finish.
