Light colour, red fruits, a little Gamay-like, touch herbal, grainy texture. Hard to read but has character; a little herbally dominated on the finish.
Med- colour. Really jammy nose - strawberry, plum jam vibe. Vanilla, clove and cinnamon. Glazed pastry, cooked boysenberry. Very sweet, jammy palate too. Warm alcohol. Not much joy here.
Very smoky / stale. Hard and sweet / sour.
Morello, baking spice, fresh cut herbs. Red fruit framed, intensity of ripeness, sweet vanilla oak. Heavy handed on the oak - warm
