Judge 1	Complex with smoke, wood and layers of ripe fruit flavour across the palate. Ripe yet grunty tannins hold the palate in place. The concentration tips to salinity and hints of dried fruit. Long, well-balanced. Good flow across all elements.
Judge 2	Deep plum maroon. Aromas in the warm and woody zone. Palate is purple and plummy, but there is a fair bit of bacony oak making presence felt. Fine though.
Judge 3	Lifted and bright blue and black fruits, silky palate, savoury quite tarry on palate with dusty but firm tannins
