black and red fruited, touch jammy on nose. bundled wood spice. saltiness intrigues. baked terracotta earthiness on palate, structured tannins, acid tucked in and soft fruited. Drying finish distracts.

Deep maroon. Nose is a little demure, But maybe due to proximity to very fresh styles. This possibly had 18mo in old oak for example. Has a bit of an old oak vibe to it over macerated berries, some attractive violetty florals too. Palate is quite lovely - I think this is a quite intentional style: slow maturation and a bit of bottle age. The fruit tannins are quite lovely and frontal, cooling and correct. I like this wine. It manages to parse varietal flow while being demure and not a 'loud wine

Capsicum, canned corn. Grippy palate but reasonably gentle, numerous, layered tannins which are very fine. Nicely balanced structure.
