Judge 1	Purple. Dark chocolate, smoky, black olive, olive leaf. Late, grainy tannins with tart black cherry acidity. Very young and crunchy fruit. Good freshness.
Judge 2	Deep Maroon. Squishy jammy blackberry aromatics. A richer 'OZ red' style, holds those brittle tannins nicely though and although big fruited, has the correct acid.
Judge 3	Herbal, stalky, morello cherry fruit spectrum, yoghurty lees - creamy palate - vanillin oak, lots of cherry fruit, sour uplifting acidity, firm chalky grippy tannins to finish.
Associate Judge	red licorice, sweet rose, violet lift, seaweed. bunchy juicy character, tannin crunchy adn large framed, chalk, sweet blue purple fruit. Tasty wine, varietal?
