Judge 1	Concentrated sarsaparilla and violet with plushness and a sweet-fruited palate. Forward and fruit-focussed before nutmeg and exotic spice emerges on the finish.
Judge 2	Deep inky maroon. Very licquorous aromatics, glossy black berry fruits. Hint of liquorice root. Palate is rich, ripe and fullsome, some breathy sweet alcoholly wood notes. Not what I would expect from Sangiovese but a big, very concentrated style done perfectly well.
Judge 3	Baked fruit crumble, spice, liquorice. Alcohol heat. Concentration, tangy.
Associate Judge	sweet floral, confection. Dark coffee bean oak character, tad bitter and larger framed. fruit darker underneath, has density feels like oak needs to suck in
