Concentrated sarsaparilla and violet with plushness and a sweet-fruited palate. Forward and fruit-focussed before nutmeg and exotic spice emerges on the finish.

Deep inky maroon. Very licquorous aromatics, glossy black berry fruits. Hint of liquorice root. Palate is rich, ripe and fullsome, some breathy sweet alcoholly wood notes. Not what I would expect from Sangiovese but a big, very concentrated style done perfectly well.
