savoury, lovely tannins, texture, some evolution, quite delicious finish
bit of age? perfumed, macerated fruit, earthy forest floor, crushed black earth and dried autumn florals. Silky mouthfeel, volcanic type notes, nicely paced acid, macerated red and black fruits,, smooth and supple. mid lentgh. bit bloody too. Touch lifted off palate?

Deep maroon. Top note that is a bit volatile/ ea-ish. Palate has plenty of fruit to match up with the voli, so I reckon the VA is working nicely in this wine. It too looks Italianate. Very good.

A bit of an old oak character on nose. The palate is a little tired. A square finish.
