Smelt lovely and initial taste in glass was lovely: fresh floral jasmine notes; lovely herbal sage and almond spice, fresh acidity, great core, nice texture in mid-palate. However, one judge who is very sensitive to it, recognised the mouse-iness on the back palate, which grew in the glass and on recall, the wine fell from initial much higher points. |
