Very dark, maturing ruby. Really iifted, perfumed and sweet with a hint of leather and spice. gripping rich fruit with full spread. It is all power and density and little finesse. you wouldn't finish the bottle. oxidised? |
dark colour some browing; very ripe fruit lacking freshness; drying on the finish |
Some sulphide dominates opening, ground coffee, 'maritime'.. opens to spice/leather. Palate smooth, tannins resolving, acid soft. Nice fruits - savoury/sweet. H2S blows off. |
ripe plum and leather nose, softer fruit opening on palate, acid/tannin finish, dusty medium bodied, riper, age? boozy but goes with territory |
